11.00 am Interviewing Workshop
Emely Neubert provides an insight into the in-depth process of this often staple component of documentary filmmaking, moving away from interviewing as mere journalistic function to more creative forms of interviewing.
12.15 Activist Documentary
The filmmakers from Walks of Like Films discuss the experience of making Over the Wall, a film about the journey of a British university football team in the midst of the Arab Spring and the tensions involved in combining activism and documentary filmmaking.
